PBS | Talibah's Story

With over ten years of production experience, primarily as a director, writer, and producer, I have had the great fortune to train my lens on a variety of subjects and stories – Scripted, Unscripted and Branded content. Versatile as a producer and storyteller, I have created content for many platforms of note including a scripted virtual reality series about the Tulsa Oklahoma Massacre titled Greenwood Avenue,  a piece on Black Trans Women’s lived experiences, and produced Netflix’s first inclusion report short film.

During my role as Branded Content Video Director for Complex Networks operating out of the umbrella of Buzzfeed I packaged, produced and directed content for campaigns including but not limited to brands such as Macy’s, Target, Frito Lay- Cheetos, Oikos, Ciroc, Esplon, Absolut, General Mills - Totinos, Gillette, Kingsford, Canva, and Timberland with a keen focus on Tik Tok integration and social media distribution of the assets. One of my favorite campaigns to work on was a Cheetos Pretzels campaign in which we garnered 1M+ views with a 60 second man on the street concept.

My work has garnered many awards and recognition including DGA, HBO, ABFF, Princess Grace, and GLAAD awards and these accolades speak to the care and intention that is poured into the work during the creation process from idea to delivery.
